Stroll the shops and street vendors and find treasures from days gone by!

Put on your moccasins and step back in time as we learn about some
original caretakers of the garden. Discover ways Native Americans preserved the world around us and how we can pass these on to future generations. Spend time creating a take-home craft using the same types of materials that might have been used "way back then."

The Annual Fall Festival is the following day from Noon - 4pm in Talleyrand Park with the Halloween Parade stepping off at 1:30. (Parade forms on High Street in front of YMCA at 1 PM. Costume judging prior to parade.) Enjoy free activities for children, ghost stories, music, food and more after the parade in Talleyrand Park.

Bellefonte Victorian Christmas offers a taste of Christmas Past with an Historic Homes Tour, an Arts & Crafts Show, concerts, horse-drawn buggy rides, gingerbread house contest, train rides, strolling entertainment, breakfast with Santa and a Victorian Tea Party. Held on the second weekend in December.

April 2015

The Bellefonte Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt is held annually prior to Easter. All children 12 years and under are invited to attend.  Games, refreshments, and a visit from the Easter Bunny are highlights of the event, along with 10,000 Easter Eggs.  The children are divided up into age groups throughout the park.  Golden eggs with coupons for special baskets, gift certificates, and prizes from the downtown businesses are included in the day's festivities.  Centre Crest, local clubs, churches, and fire companies will supply the candy-filled eggs and special prizes.  There is no charge for this event. It is held in conjunction with Historic Bellefonte Inc.  If any children need to complete community service time for school, they may volunteer to help with this event.

May 17, 2015 from Noon to 4 p.m.
Talleyrand Park, Bellefonte

The Big Spring Festival takes place on the third weekend in May and celebrates our bountiful supply of water with entertainment, water sports, crafts, fish stocking of Spring Creek and more. Activities will go on all afternoon courtesy of Kayaking Tussey Mountain Outfitters, Children’s Activities Sponsored By The Youth Service Bureau, Food Vendors will be on hand and Non Profit Group Activities & Fundraisers will be part of the day. The Stocking of Spring Creek is sponsored by Stocker Chevrolet Subaru. Fish are Furnished by Elk Creek Hatchery located in Millheim, PA.

The Bellefonte Cruise, held Father's Day weekend, includes an open cruise, a sock hop, all-vehicle show, parade of high performance and classic show cars, motorcycle poker run, and lots more. In 2012 they added New Truck classes, redefined Motorcycle and Car classes, FREE Children's Class registration, and a Sunday Event – HBC 5K Run/walk to benefit Centre County Y!

The Bellefonte Arts & Crafts Fair will be held Friday from 10am to 8pm and Saturday, from 10am to 6pm in Tallyrand Park. The fair includes over 100 juried artists and crafters, family entertainment, great food, and free children's activities. Park and ride shuttle service available from the Bellefonte High School.
